Gotland Last weekend we were on Gotland for class trip and it was really fun. It was really fun because some people like me had never been on Gotland before and we did a lot of different activities and games.  We went bathing on a very nice beach on Fåre which is an island right outside Gotland. Parents ask't what rating the kids would put and most of them put 4 because lots of kids said they wanted more free time.

1kr campaign

About a week ago we started a 1kr donation campaign to Syria. We did posters and a text to say in the speaker all over the school. We said that everybody in school that wanted could bring 1kr (or more) to school. We are going to send the money that we get to the Red Cross, then the Red Cross is going to send it to Syrian refugees. We were inspired by an article in Dagens Nyheter, the article was called: En krona per elev blir miljonhjälp. It was on DN the 9 of September. We're going to all of the classes in school next week to collect the money that they have collected form everyone in there class that donated.

Student rotation
This week in Lotta's student rotation we had a test about Adams, elements and molecules. Adams are the smallest piece of an item. In Micke's student rotation we studied 'minoritets språk' and we had a test about them. A 'minoritets språk' is a language that less then the majority of a country speaks and the government decided it was a 'minoritets språk'. This week in Hilary's student rotation we worked with neutrals. We had to right down everything we eat in one day and looked at it to see if we could eat healthier. We looked at how much vitamins and vegetables we eat. In Hanna's student rotation they played football indoors in the gym hall.

Social studies

Obs! We are going  to tingsrätten on the 22/9, so that is very important to remember!

This week in social studies we have watched a film about how it is in court because we are going their next Tuesday. We also got to know that we are going to have a test at the laws in Sweden 2/10th and we are going to study in school and preferably a bit at home. You are allowed to borrow a social study book from school to study at home, the questions for the test are going to be on the blog under the folder social studies or SO.

                                                                  Tingsrätten!

On September the 22nd (Tuesday, Week 39) we are going to Stockholm's Tingsrätt. We are going to split up the class into two different groups and then the two groups are going to watch two different cases. Some people are going there by themselves or with friends by either taking the bus 61 taking the tube to Rådhuset or walking. Then you must be there at 8:50 if you go with the class we will meet here at school at 08:00.

                                                                Johannes OS!

On Friday the 25th we will have Johannes OS at Kristineberg IP. We will need packed lunch and good clothing. There are a couple of different ''grenar'' meaning that there are activities like ''längdhopp, höjdhopp, kast med liten boll'' and more.

Modern Languages
Modern languages In Spanish we got to work on how to present your self and tell simple things like my name is, dónde vives. And simple stuffs. We also had a test of counting to 20. In the other Spanish group we went through different verbs for example "ser" (to be) "tú eres" (you are) "yo soy" (I am) "ella/él es" (she/he is).

Home Economics
This week in home economics we made a pasta salad with vegetables, small bits of kabanos, feta cheese and dressing. We also baked something called "kuvär gifflar", and it was some kind of bread. Our teacher Karin gave us the recipe to all the food. The meal took about one hour to finish everything. The bread took the most time and was the hardest. We kind of failed with the bread but it was at least fun.

                                                 (GYM)
Week 38 at gym we ran a "staffet". There was one green team and one blue team and they were both trying to beat each other's records. When you beat the other teams record they got a point. At the end the blue team got five point wile the green team got four points. The record time for ten people to run back and forward was 26.15 seconds.
